Chipped is the first to market for salon quality press-on nails with embedded NFC chips. When tapped with a smartphone, these nails open a dynamic profile, allowing users to share their social media, websites, and other digital identities. Our platform supports both web2 and web3 profiles using privy sign-in all enabling the creation of proof of IRL credentials, while also adding notes and pictures to the connections to give context to your rolodex using offchain attestations protected by your private key.

PIRLS

Every connection you make is beautiful, unique and takes time to grow, like a pearl, but we prefer to spell it PIRL for Proof of IRL, with each connection contributing points towards your onchain identityโ€™s reputation, so the more you tap and connect the more PIRLs you collect. Through this we are creating an anti-sybil network of real users and wallets through high signal actions.

As blockchain and consumer crypto matures, we see beyond hyper-financialization. Adoption will happen when people come for the fun and naturally transition into financial uses. Outside this bubble, most consumers donโ€™t seek financial gain as a first mover for consumers. This is how we get adoption. Using fun as a KPI, enhancing current consumer habits, and building brands worthy of the mainstream internet.

VIBES

Prior to launch we already had strong traction not just on crypto twitter but also coverage from major news and culture outlets [Highsnobiety, Vogue Business, Hypebae] as well as on the runway at NYFW. We found PMF pretty aggressively by prototype testing with over 600 across 5 countries at in person events. Creating 1000s of Chipped interactions and generating over 1,000,000 social media impressions. We currently have 200 beta users for our retail product.

Up until launch our collaborations were mainly just for proof of vibes and weโ€™ve now moved into custom partnerships which will begin to roll out from with Mainnet and Devcon.
